Third Season of EPIC League Announced
The Russian tournament organizer Epic Esports Events has announced the third season of their Dota 2 event EPIC League. The tournament will take place in March and feature two divisions with a total prize pool of $100,000.
The event’s line-up will include sixteen teams from Europe and CIS, however the organizer is not ready to announce the participants just yet. All teams will start competing in a group stage – the best eight teams will advance to the first division, where they will fight for $85,000, while the rest will compete for $15,000 in the second one. The matches will be played between March 2nd and March 21st.
The league’s previous season was played from December 8th to 13th, featuring a $550,000 prize pool across two divisions – Virtus.pro won the first division, while Alliance became the champions of the second one.
